Mass Effect - PC version rumour

Rumours have surfaced that a European date for Mass Effect PC will be revealed shortly.

This follows the announcement that the US will get Mass Effects for the PC on the 6th of May, as confirmed earlier this month. The controls will be juggleed so that they will work well with the PC keyboard.

The PC SKU brings a redesigned user interface and vehicle controls to better suit.

There is a mini-game to replace the button-matching console mini-game for decrypting lockers and devices.

Mass Effect is a space opera where you, as Commander Shepard, get tasked with saving humanity.

It looks good and it sounds good, and this high level of polish allow led to numberous awards and accolades during the course of 2007.

Its only bone of contention was the combat system, which some felt was a bit wobbly and others got on swimmingly with.

The main feature that drew criticism was the squad combat system which some felt lacked depth and purpose.

If you're a PC gamer and a role playing fan this game heavy on character interaction might well be be right up your alley. Those who purchased the 360 version will soon be enjoying tdownloadable content, due for release on the 10th March. It is available for 400 Microsoft gamer points and features an additional uncharted world and around 90 minutes of adventure.
