EU 360 Price cut Confirmation

According to the Telegraph, the Xbox 360 price cut has just been made official.

The price reduction will affect all 360 models from the Arcade version up to the Elite. Along with the new cheaper price Microsoft has stated that the cuts are part of their long term plan to conquer the European market.

It's still too early to tell if the latest Xbox systems still suffer from high failure rates, but the long term Red Ring of Death problems could not be doing the 360's image any good.

This latest price drop comes just a few weeks before the release of the latest Grand Theft Auto game, a franchise which has a history of motivating people to buy consoles.
