Gamer's Guiness Book of Records
Chris Kruger
The Gamer's Edition of the Guiness World Records 2008 is out. This is the first time the an edition has been devoted entirely to games. According to Bethesda Software's Blog some of the records stored within this tome include:
- Daggerfall has the largest land-based game area at 63,125 miles.
- The fastest play through of Morrowind was done by Vladimir "Knu" Semenov at 7 minutes, 30 seconds.
- Tomb Raider is the highest grossing film adapted from a video game.
How they find out some of this stuff is quite a mystery but it has been recorded for posterity and our enjoyment all the same.
