About Us
Welcome to the Divine Abomination magazine. We're so pleased you stopped by. We're the new kids on the block. We'll admit it. We're just getting started making our way into the world of online journalism. We are currently a non-profit site devoted to video games. We'll mostly be writing about video games and the video games industry. Most of our work will be devoted to players of video games, although some of our work will be aimed towards video games developers or games development hobbiests. This just reflects our background. Some of us are games developers, all of us are players. We love playing games and we love making games.
We're big fans of grass roots and indie games. We believe these are the guys (and girls) with serious passion for what they do. In our view passion and innovation go hand in hand. We're always on the lookout for the up and coming studios, game designers and new ideas. We love that stuff and love to give it the exposure that it's due.
What is produced on this site is what happens when our enthusiasm bubbles over and we feel the urge to share. Our reward is that "you", the readers, get something from our work. Enjoyment, knowledge or something other. To that end we're pretty keen to please. We love feedback and suggestions and we welcome submissions from likeminded individuals. Credit is always given when due.
Currently this website is pretty simple. We've kept it that way deliberately as to not distract ourselves too much from writing content. We're only few. We know it's not perfect but we hope you find that it doesn't get in the way. New features will be added from time to time as we grow.
Finally, one other thing we're pretty keen to express is that we at Divine Abomination magazine, no matter how and if we grow, have no intention of ever charging our readers for content or using intrusive advertising (i.e. evil popups). The internet is commercial enough as it is without us adding to the stench.
